Happy Tears

At Popham Beach

Future pimp;)

Look, Mom, here I come!

Birthday Breakfast!! Jackson is ONE YEAR OLD here! I made French Toast, he hated it.

Daddy bought him a wheeler!

Playing piano at Grammy and Grampa Kit's- this is his first birthday party, on his actual birthday.

Hmmm...

New truck from Aunt Aurora!

Yeah. He's standing in the dishwasher at Mom's.

I'm glad I brought spare socks!

Second birtday party, at our house on Sunday.

He was blue for 2 days.

Relaxing in his new rocking chair with his Daddy.

Helping me peel potatos!

On his wheeler again, and again, and again!

First grilled cheese sandwich. It IS easy being Cheesy!

Bucket on his head!

Helping me orgainize the storage space... He was VERY helpful.

Happy SECOND Halloween! I can't believe we're going to be having Jackson's "second" holidays. How is it possible?

Not very happy...

Look at that little bum!

Headed to Grampy's house! Head down, lets GO!

While we at Grampy's house, we found Daddy!

And Grampy!

Standing on a box.

What a year! It has certainly flown by.

As I look at these pictures, I have to admit that I'm in tears. I never, never, in a million years could have imagined that being a mother could be this amazing, rewarding, everything. Literally everything. My life is so full, so busy, so perfect with this munchkin and my absolutely wonderful husband, who has exceeded even my best hopes as a father. We are truly blessed.

  2. Absolutely great pictures. Your complaints about not having THE picture was caused by having too many choices. Loved the year summery. Do that every year for sure. I am going to suggest it to Dorian. My favorite is one in his Halloween costume. The ones of him walking down the lane will come back to you . It is as if he is starting his journey through life costumed asa tiger so he won't get scared. Great birthday! Great summery. Lots of stuff to revisit.
