Dad and I went on our annual Pumpkin Run. We found a couple beautiful places on the coast of Maine where neither of us had been- and that's saying a LOT!
Practicing a little on my photo skills... 
My Pops! We had so much fun... Usually we take one of the convertibles (the MG or my VW), but I didn't get Putt out of the garage this summer :(, and the MG was blocked in Mom's driveway... Which was probably good- it was COLD!!! 
Through the windshield- we were stuck in the infamous Wiscasset Traffic, which was a surprise as it's so late in the tourist season... 
Back home and some King Jackson pics... There are some settings on my camera that I haven't figured out yet- very grainy... He's sitting on a shelf about 4" off the ground, rooting through his toys. 
Here's a better one! He was actually in the basket, but by the time I took the picture he was out!
This morning, I think... the days all blend together when you have NO sleep! I think he's teething again/still. He loves to take the soda cans (these were green tea/ginger ale) and roll them across the floor- I guess we'll start worrying when it's beer cans! 
This is the hat I got him on the Pumpkin Run- $6... HOW could I resist?!?!

Last year I really wanted to put him in a pumpkin- this year I don't think he'd fit! Although... 
After his bath... He was like a little Darth Vader or something- I had to get the camera!

What a weekend! Derek is on the moose hunt- they got one this morning, and he'll be home tomorrow... I'm SO tired! I know Derek does a lot with Jackson when he's home, but this weekend was spectacular in its' lack of sleep for the boy. I'm REALLY looking forward to a good night's sleep, whenever that happens. It's ok though- even when I'm so tired I'm ready to sleep on the floor, Jackson will give me one of his devilishly cute grins and it is all worth it!! Birthday #1 in 11 days!!! AAHHHH!!!!
Mna what a bonanza of pictures.I will spend lots of time in the morning deciding what I will downlad in my album. Several things are obvious. H walks, he talks and he has a ball with everything he plays with. The cat must love his atention. Congratulations on the moose and Derek's birthday. henwas it and how old is he?The pumpkin hat was worth the six bucks even if no more than a photo prop. Great pre birthday session. And you are getting good with the camera. I am still learning the tricks my camera knows.

ReplyDeleteYes the hat and the towel are perfect. The scenery shots are very nice. I expect JH and Sue are there by now. Hello to all of you and get lots of pictures, Made some prints for the collage today . I will send you pictures of the collage as soon as I hang it. He grows before our very eyes.
