Lying in the pack n play- this smile gets me every time!
Checkin' it out- he makes sure I am under constant supervision- wouldn't want me to get in any trouble!
He's not sure about the grass between his toes. He'll find out soon enough that it's a lot better than the white stuff that we'll be getting!
I made a barracade. Pack 'n play on one side of the couch, overturned coffee table on the other. I don't think it'll work for much longer...
He's watching Derek work on the deck railings- he stood there on and off for an hour or so.
Into everything and everywhere...
I got him a new rug, he thought it was a jungle gym!
Yes, this is the dog's water bowl. If you look behind him (and under him), you will see a rather large puddle. He's done this quite a few times- what can we do? The dog needs water, and Jackson likes to dump it out!
I was wondering why I couldn't seem to find him...

On the dog
YES! He IS standing up! He's done this a little bit, but today (10 months!) was the first time he really has the hang of it. I think we're going to have a running child very, very soon!
Jackson, Derek, and I have been doing a lot of work around the house. Derek replaced all the old, rotten railings on the back porch, and we've re-done the bathroom floor and trim. Jackson is very interested in all that is going on, and would really like to be helping. He went to Home Depot with us today, and it was all I could do to hold onto him- he wanted to climb on everything!
I haven't printed out the sign yet- he's been asleep or we've been running errands all day! I'll get a few more pictures up later. In the past month and a half, he's started crawling, pulling himself up, walking around holding onto things, and standing on his own. This is happening so quickly- I get what everyone means when they say it goes by so fast...
See I knew he would become more mobil. Instead of Hat Man Two we should name him Tee Shirt Terrier. Never saw so many great outfits on a kid. Well, I guess this is what is done these days as Alex has 365 changes of clothes each year.… I am going to pick and download one for a print and frame project. It is hard to decide which one. I will let you know. Thanks for the great blog.
