We went to the grocery store yesterday. I don't know what people are smoking when they say the carseat fits on the grocery cart, because it definitely does NOT. Oh well, we had fun!

Daddy got to feed Jackson! That has been something he's been looking forward to for a long time. I started pumping, so Derek can feed him, and so at some point the boy can go to Grammy's house(s) for a couple hours.
Derek thought this was hilarious. I have to admit, it's a pretty cute picture!

Everything is going well, Jackson is awake more and more, but I'm still getting enough sleep at night! We're really enjoying watching how much he changes every day. Today I got several smiles, and it looked like he almost laughed!
The first laugh will be because we live in such a crazy world. I still get a laugh out of that. yes , he does change and his love of sunshine may mean he should live where there is lots of it. Maybe he is just storing lots for winter in MAINE. YOU LOOK SKINNY AND SMILINGLY GOOD. Remember that moose jerky is great for teething. Check Dorian's blog for an idea of an album. You will need one. ReplyDeleteI highly recommend getting something like an ergo carrier for grocery trips. I used a moby wrap when Alex was really little and now that she's bigger I find the Ergo easier to use. Eventually lugging that carseat around will be a big hassle and you'll appreciate a comfortable carrier that will keep him close by and keep your hands free. I still can't decide if I'm going to get one of those shopping cart cover things because they're kind of expensive ($35-50) and the Ergo has been working out so well for me so far.
