holy flipping cats I'm not ready for cold

My friend Sarah and I took the boys to the Cumberland Fair. It was a warm day (read HOT), with a crowd of mid-week folks (read handicapped and scary *not handicapped AND scary, but there were a lot of people in wheelchairs and a lot of scary people*). We stayed for about an hour and then headed home. The trip home was a lot faster than the trip TO the fair, as I ditched Garmin (gps) and relied on my own superior brain power to lead the way. Side note: I had no idea how fun it could be to get lost. We laughed so hard I had tears running down my face, and Sarah (who is preggo) almost peed.

Wondering why the tiny horse has horns... Or wait- that's a sheep. I have no idea what he was really thinking.

Very shortly after emptying out this toy bucket, he put it on his head and went upstairs. Some things never change...

Wheeeee!!!

All these next pictures are from today. I was hanging out laundry and actually stopped to take a look around... There was Jackson, headed off across the lawn with his faithful black leader, and Bay grazing right. there. next to the house... And a pretty full woodshed, and yep- life is pretty good!

And then there was the kitty, getting chased up a tree...

By Maya...

With an audience...

Quick break- Hey Maya- can I have your stick? No? Ok, I'm going to whack you repeatedly with my rake until you share! Yay!

Um yes, I do think he's cute. Thanks for asking!

He's on the couch, saying KITTY CAT! MAMA KITTY CAT! Which isn't so unusual, but this time the cat was actually hanging out with him.

He. Was. Pumped.

Then I looked at Trango and he'd been decorated! That's a coaster, 5 playing cards, and two socks (still warm from a certain short person's feet). First of all, I can't believe T. didn't move. Second, I just think that's the cutest, sweetest thing I've ever-in-the-last-half-hour seen.
Sir J seems to have finally gotten over his hives, just in time for the allergist!
