All the toys came out of the basket and Jackson went in!
Hangin' out on Dad- this was Thanksgiving... As usual we did the multi-family shuffle. It was fun, but man were we beat at the end of the day!
He's always surrounded with a million toys... We keep bringing some upstairs in hopes of a little organization, but we've pretty much realized that's not going to happen! I don't mind picking up toys 100 times a day. Which is good!
I have a place to "hang my stockings with care!"
Checking out the washing machine. This is one of our favorite activities, as the washer is front loading with a window and the suds come down and things go around and around and OH BOY!
Safe.
I think we was stuck here...
This is blurry, but those things in his hands? Weights. He went to his grandparent's house on Saturday, and as I was packing his bag, I looked and he'd put the weights IN the bag. He's such a little noodle!
Our house! Derek helped me get the lights up. I love it!
Jackson's first snow! I posted videos earlier, but these are the pictures of that day.
I love this one- he's just striding away! It took me about 30 minutes to get him dressed. Poor kid just lay there with about 10 layers of clothing!
He's being very helpful here- nothing like a kid on a four-wheeler when you're trying to vacuum!
Ready to go get the mail, Mom!
This was this morning- he pulls all the pillows off the couches and makes himself at home!
I dunno what I was trying to get here... Little boy butt, I guess!
Ahh the boots- these pictures are mixed up- the first bunch were from my phone, these are with the camera.
Here he is- splayed out like a small defeated boy...
MOM!!!
I think he was a little hot by now...
He spilled all the cheerios and was intent on getting them out from under the couch. Maya (dog with a dye job) helped. Per usual.
He likes my office chair- it goes around and around and has wheels! He pushes it all over the house, and we push him IN it all over the house. The chair gets a lot of miles...
Look at the drool on that child- I swear we DO change his shirt!
Guess what's under that blanket? DADDY!!!
You may possibly have noticed that there aren't any ornaments on the lower third of the tree. Guess why that is. He is SO funny about the tree- he knows he's not supposed to touch it, so he'll walk up to it, point, make eye contact, and shake his head "no." Then he'll grab whatever he wants off the tree and run like crazy. *sigh*
I love that kid!
What a great set of pictures and script. They tell a lot of what each day is like with Jackson (and you ,of course). Jackson is a very good natured and alert child. I bet raising him will never be dull. House and Christmas look great as I viewed this set it came to me that one way of evaluating how good a job you have done with a set is how many times it will be reviewed by folks. This set will be something I will revisit many times. This morning I will have to decide what to move into my working album. Going to be hard. I finally figured out how Sue beats me to your blog every time. She gets up three hours before I do.
ReplyDeleteAlex has already broken one of our ornaments :-(.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Jackson all stretched out on the sofa pillows in his pajamas. Quite the life!
Actually, Uncle Doug, she gets a call from her granddaughter;)
ReplyDeleteDorian- our nice ones are all at the top of the tree... Jackson has destroyed a couple too :( Oh well...
