Trango is seeking refuge on my desk...
Daddy's always putting me IN things!!
Trango escaping to the top of the truck and Jackson checking out the scene
Me? Eat toast? Nevah...
Annnd you see why Trango is always running away!
That child is always into something. I went to grab the camera to take a picture, and by the time I had it on, he had this cord in his mouth. Sigh.
Chasing Trango again...
So, yes, Jackson is walking. He went from the very basics of crawling to full-out walking in a month and a half. I thought I'd have a little more time, but it seems that my baby has grown up!
Rock Gardens closed for the season on Sunday, so we're able to get back into a bit of a routine. He's always been great about taking naps, but recently he's been falling asleep later- so I'd have to wake him up to go to the "sitter's" house (Grammy Cindy or Grampa Wayne). It's been really nice to spend all this time with the Munchkin too!
It seems like nothing big is happening, but I guess that's life- my best friend Aurora got married the end of August- what a beautiful day, ceremony, and especially bride! Jackson was staying with Derek's parents, but made a cameo appearance so that we could show him off. He was pretty tired and hungry, but everyone thought he was still pretty perfect (as they should!).
Hunting season has resumed and Derek has been out in the woods quite a bit. It's so nice for him to be able to just cross the road and be in the woods, instead of having to drive all the way from Bath. He has a couple tree stands up, and has caught some huge bucks on his trail camera. Now- just to catch those giant bucks with an arrow!
I have my end of season party for Rock Gardens tonight. I'm making my famous (haha) spinach and artichoke dip... I should really do that now, but I think I'm going to sit down and chill out for a bit first while Wheelie Crash/Willis McMuffin/Muffin Chopper (aka Jackson) is napping!
What a great collection of pictures! I down load pictures to my photo album and use them. I will have trouble selection the ones from this collection for that pupose. I just about have Jackson's birthday poem finished. I took us to the woods also as it just seems to fit. Glad he is walking, but know that you are a bit more busy. Just a month and he will have been around a year. Have you taught him to say "Hey buck stand still" ! He will have to learn if he is going to be a help to Derek in the woods.Check out my web for Alex's poem and some great shots at the zoo. Two kids lots of animals zoo nad woods. Makes sense ,huh?
