We moved to our new house on the 11th- it's been a busy couple of weeks! We finally got internet, cable, and propane hooked up. It's nice to be able to cook on a real stove instead of the grill and the camping cookstove! The house is great, and we're already becoming hermits- who needs to go to town, anyway?!
I put Bridger to sleep on the 6th- he was really ready to go, but that didn't make it any easier on me. It's a hard choice, but I know that I did the right thing. It's so much harder on the humans in the situation... Poor old B-dog... he'll always be such a part of my heart. We've been discussing another dog- it's soon, but neither of us has ever been without a dog, and we honestly don't know what to do without all that dog hair all over everything!
Jackson has his 4 month doctor's appointment on Friday- I'm excited to see how much he weighs and how looooong he's gotten! He's increasingly vocal and very strong- loving to "stand" up on anything and everything, and his motor skills are getting a lot better too. It happens SO fast!

ReplyDeleteWell let us try again. Last time I tried to add a comment I also tried to add a picture and none of it came through. I checked this blog when I got up this morning. It was clock time before you sent it because of the time zones. I expected to see Jackson at 4 months. Pictures are great and text is also very informative. Nice going. I suggest we try book osmosis with some classics if they are not to heavy for Jackson's head. Time to get a new dog. I do love yellow labs for babies. They can grow up together and a big old yellow would be sure Jackson got his hunting and fishing in. Be sure to give the dog a name with a story so Jackson at 15 can say: "yes we named him(her).... because. Hear you have been moving from your gm. Glad it is done and you have at least one more move to make so rest u. Beautiful spring day here and ! can work in the yard seeding some spring flowers. They should be up soon. California golden poppies,zinnias and portulaca. The yard is full of daffodils. Love to all
