Summertime!

Mom and Keith on the boat

That baby sleeps a lot!

Foot 'o baby

Not my best, but at least I have a picture of my little and me!

So much fun with "Uptown Gammy" at the Phippsburg School playground

Ryan sleeping... I know, weird.

I'm bummed the quality of this video is so poor- I must have had it zoomed or something... Oh well.

Ryan is 11 lbs, 3 oz at 34 days old. Um, WOW, that means he's gained almost a pound a week!

One Month?!

Love this!

Happy one month, Ryan!

Jackson smile

Jackson smile please?!

Oh! You smiled!

Jackson say cheese.

Jackson- look like a normal person! He's so good at following directions...

So Ryan's a month old. No idea how that happened so quickly! He's such a good baby... He wakes up every 2-3 hours to eat, but then falls right back to sleep. I did a bottle with him for the first time a couple of days ago, and he was fine with it- he really seems to just roll with whatever's happening! He has his one month doctor's visit on Thursday- I'm really looking forward to seeing how much he weighs and how tall he's gotten to be!

We went to the beach for a couple of hours today. It was Jackson's first time really playing in the sand and wading in the water- he's not a big fan of water yet, which is a little strange because we've done a lot of swimming lessons. Oh well. He'll be comfortable with it soon, I'm sure.

The Fourth was fun, we went to the parade and yesterday went back uptown for Keith's band and to watch the antique fire engine/water pumper teams try to shoot water the farthest- pretty cool. Jackson is NOT into fireworks or loud sirens/horns, so we had a great excuse to go to bed early (as usual!). We're hoping that next year he'll want to see more. It's hard to remember that he is only 2 and a half- he seems so big and capable, espacially next to Ryan!

The most amazing baby EVER (since Jackson)

Memorial Day boat trip- good thing we went then, I was pn bed rest two days later...

I may posibly have snuck off the couch to take pictures of the huge rain storm and flooding!

After spending 2 nights in the hospital and being sent home, then going back to maternity for monitoring 3 times, they decided on Friday, June 8th to do an earlier c-section...

and RYAN Levi Perkins arrived! He weighed 8 pounds, 1.2oz, 19.5" long, at 7:47 pm.

Home, James!

Jackson got a lot of presents. I think he'd like to have a few more baby brothers so he could have more presents. This was a train that Elna and Aurora gave him- he was THRILLED, because it also has blocks, which you can build things out of.

We all went on the boat on Sunday (yesterday). It was SO hot- Jackson is hot, not sunburned, just fyi!

There's Ryan- like Derek said, people have been trying to make baby swings like boats for years. It vibrates, swings with the swells, and you hear the sound of waves... He slept the entire trip!

And tonight Jackson asked to hold Ryan, so I took some pictures and knew I'd better get on this blog thing :)

Proud big brother right there!!
