Lots of pictures!

Mom and Jackson at the Portland Flower Show- checking out the train, of course!

Derek having a standoff with the cat? Maybe?

The wall to the bathroom goes up...

You got him a what, honey? And you stuck it on his HEAD?

Old wall- going out to the addition. This is where the old downstairs bathroom was, and where the kitchen sink and cabinets were.

Gotta have a break, Grampy!

This was our 80 degree day in March. Jackson didn't get the memo that it was hot, obviously! It got cold again... Until this weekend when it warmed up!

Old bathroom doorway, wall is gone...

I've noticed that Jackson is in SO many pf the pictures I take. Even when I'm not actually taking a picture of him, there he is!

This is the "kitchen" I used for a couple of weeks... Basically the sink and a counter top.

Plywood walls- good for attaching cabinets I'm told!

Then he skim coated it all for paint.

Trango picked the warm spot under the lamp... Typical cat.

Helper!

New cabinets!!

And Jackson.

Coming home from school with Daddy!

Still a bucket head. Not much I can do about that one, I guess!

I LOVE this picture- such a great smile for Easter!

Hey- there's good stuff in here!

Mo' eggs Mum! Mo!

Oops double pic..

Maybe he'll be a plumber- he's the right size now!

The director of all.

Our wonderful friend Josh- he's an electrician and occasionally can be bribed into bringing his beautiful wife (my best friend Aurora) and 9 month old son Kyle with him!

Counter tops going on...

Yeah! What! I have a new kitchen!!! We. We have a new kitchen. I LOVE it!

I have such an amazingly talented husband and father- Derek and his crew have been working on this at the same time as they're doing several other jobs, and this is busy cottage-opening season for my Dad, so I'm just feeling very lucky!
We're still working on the bedroom part of the addition, but that's not as critical- the baby will be in a bassinet in our room for the first couple of months. Speaking of the baby... Only eight weeks to go! I can't wait. Jackson is already talking about going to the beach with the baby and the dog- I don't know if he's planning on bringing me, but it's a pretty long walk!
